Pool Champs 2010
The following are the results of the Pool Champs held the last Sunday in May and the four Sundays in June. These were open to all Financial Members of Club Waimea. This event is the best of 3 frames and run as a Round Robin allowing each player to play each other. There was some very good pool played and for those who didn’t achieve a trophy some good experience was gained.
- Ladies Singles: winner Angie Barnett, runner-up Katrina Friend
- Ladies Doubles: winners Katrina Friend & Annie Short, runners-up Marj Hart & Lynley Davey
- Mens Singles: winner Mark Friend, runner-up Robert Barnett
- Mens Doubles: winners Nobby Yorwarth & Mark Friend, runners-up Kevin Tait & Ralph Greenfield
- Mixed Pairs: winners Viv Moody & Mark Friend, runners-up Marj Hart & Ian Ord.
