Tomorrow night we have NZ Idol Luke Whaanga performing in the main bar from 7pm, seating will be at a premium so be sure to be here early. The restaurant is open from 5.30pm so get a group together and enjoy a fabulous meal before the show.
For those wanting to watch the rugby on Friday night we will have that available in the Richmond room and back in they main bar on Saturday night.
The RAGS outdoor bowling tournament is scheduled for this Sunday and we are looking for more entries which close Saturday night. This is a fun event for both the non bowler and experienced bowler.
Melbourne Cup day is Tuesday 3 November with the big race being shown live on our big screen. This is an opportunity for you to dress up and make an afternoon of it at the Club. There will be prizes for the best dressed, raffles and sweepstakes which will go on sale on Friday. We will be offering a shortened menu on the day with food available from 4pm.
The courtesy coach will be available from 3pm to get you to and from the club so make a point of utilising this wonderful service.
We are hosting a fun race night on Friday 6 November and I am still looking for participants to be actively involved in this event. Please let us know on Tuesday 3 November. This is a great night’s entertainment with great prizes to be claimed at the end with our blind auction.
We have Karaoke on Saturday 7 November for those that like to sing with Alison of Avago Karaoke, with the finals of the rugby being shown elsewhere in the club.
Sunday 8 November we have a real treat for you the member, with NZ’s top country music entertainer’s Kevin Greaves performing from 4pm.
