26th National Ladies Indoor Bowls Championship
Congratulations!! Well done to Pat Stade and Linda Carrick for winning the pairs and to Jean McKenzie for her 3rd equal place in the singles.
Club Waimea Supporters Club
A group of loyal rugby followers are keen on supporting our local NPC team the Tasman Makos, so if you are interested in supporting our local team then we want to hear from you! We have a group heading into Trafalgar Park to watch the pre season match against Otago this weekend. If you would like a seat on the coach please register your name at the bar, seats are strictly limited.
Situation Vacant
We have a part time position available for a general handyperson to assist with function room set up and general duties. You need to be physically fit as the role can be demanding, you will also need a clean drivers licence. The position is available immediately. Please contact Club Manager Raymond Nicholson

Thursday Night Members Draw is gaining momentum and if not struck tonight it will jackpot to $2100 for next week.
Last week we did a special Pirates Chest draw for the bowls tournament which had to be won the lucky person was delighted with their winnings, which included towels, hot water bottle, toys and gift vouchers to selected stores to name a few of the items. This week’s regular draw is valued at over $600 in goods, which includes a Freeview decoder valued at $200 kindly sponsored by FAVSAT Satellite &Aerial Systems.
Just like Christmas!!! We are introducing a lucky member’s draw on Saturday nights with two meal vouchers to be won. These will be drawn between 7.30pm and 8pm each week
