Club Waimea invites you to the 2012 South Island Indoor Bowls Championships. The daily time table of events is as follows with play commencing at 8.30am each day -

Singles – Friday, 6 April

Pairs – Saturday, 7 April

Triples – Sunday, 8 April

Fours – Monday, 9 April

4 – 7 JULY 2011

HOSTED BY CLUB WAIMEA

This years event was transferred to Club Waimea from the Richmond Club, Christchurch as their club sustained considerable damage during the February earthquake. Club Waimea welcomes the 250 ladies who have entered the tournament which begins on Sunday 3 July at 3.00pm with the North V South Challenge followed by the Official Welcome and Opening of the event in the Sports Hall.

The daily time table of events is as follows with play commencing at 8.30 each day –

Monday 4 July – Richmond Auto Brake & Clutch Singles
Tuesday 5 July – Christies Jewellery & Made for Men Pairs
Wednesday 6 July – Talleys Triples
Thursday 7 July – Club Waimea Fours

Several social events have been arranged during the tournament which all Club Waimea members are invited to attend.

Tuesday night 5 July we have arranged entertainment in the lounge including a Mens Fashion show sponsored by Made for Men and starring some of our Club Members.
Thursday night 7 July the Ladies will let their hair down at the Trophy presentation and Social windup.

The informal friendly nature of the Monday Club night belies just what a successful group this is, achieving overall rankings of 3rd and 4th respectively at the recent Mens and Womens National Championships. Budding players always welcome.
